Back when I started my own business and was getting involved in my community, I started to change myself because that’s what I thought that they wanted to see. I learned, however, that I was wrong. My community much more respected someone who was genuine. They wanted to see me in the raw, unfiltered. Now, being unfiltered and being yourself isn’t about disrespecting anybody. It’s about being true to yourself and getting your act together to that you can accomplish the goals you set out for yourself so that you can have the life you deserve and have dreamed about. Keeping it Real is exactly how it sounds. Don’t sugar coat your intentions in the path you lay out for yourself.
