How Your Success Coach Can Help You to Stay Motivated

One of the biggest obstacles that my clients are facing when they first come to me in search of a success coach is a lack of motivation. If you are starting out on your path to be an entrepreneur, you will probably have many tasks and goals you need to accomplish. It can get overwhelming, and that makes it hard to stay motivated. Even if you have been working on your business for a while, you may still have some bumps along the road that leave you struggling to keep focused on the task at hand.

Let’s take a look at some tips from your success coach that will help you to stay motivated.

1 – Set Yourself Personal Goals

It is likely that you have some specific goals in mind for your business, but have you stopped to create some personal goals for yourself? As a success coach, this is something that I suggest to my clients to help them stay motivated. If you watch my weekly Bennie! Unfiltered Show, then you may have heard me talking about knowing your why. Think about the reasons you want to be an entrepreneur. What is it that drives you? What will success look like? Use the answers to these questions to set a personal goal for you to work towards.

2 – Create a Morning Routine

Another way that I encourage my success coach clients to stay motivated is to create a morning routine. I’ve found that you are going to achieve so much more when you start your day off on the right foot. How do we make sure every day starts off right? Easy! We have to follow a routine. For me, that means that as soon as I am dressed for the day, I take a few minutes to think about my daily goals. What do I want to accomplish by the end of the day? I make around 75% of those tasks business-related, and the rest are my personal goals. This is a great way to break things down into bite-size chunks and keep you motivated. A few examples of the sort of daily goals you might want to set could be:

  • Contact a potential investor
  • Write some new content for your blog
  • Plan your social media content for next month
  • Do a 20 Minute Work Out

3 – Set Reminders for Yourself

Sometimes, setting daily goals is not enough to keep you motivated. Even with them listed in front of you, it can be easy to get sidetracked by other tasks that weren’t part of your plan! Set yourself alerts on your phone, Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant to remind you of what tasks you should be working on!

4 – Engage in Motivational Activities

Another tip I give to my Success Coach clients is to spend some time engaging in activities they find motivational. You don’t need to be focused on your business tasks 24/7. You should make time to watch inspirational movies or documentaries, listen to podcasts, read books. You might even want to attend seminars hosted by other entrepreneurs you are inspired by. This goes a long way to keeping you motivated on your own goals.

5 – Reward Yourself

Make a point of rewarding yourself for your dedication and hard work every time you achieve a goal. This will act as an incentive to stay motivated. Your rewards should be personal to you. Maybe you will take that dream vacation? Go to your favorite restaurant. Buy yourself something you have always wanted. Just make sure it is something that will serve as an incentive to keep moving forward with your plan.
